Jon bought a top floor flat in a block of flats in a street in the middle of town and his girlfriend Kate moved in to live with him. Shortly afterwards Liz, who lived in the flat immediately below complained that the noise caused by Kate walking around the flat in her high heels disturbed Liz. After Liz complained Kate spent even more time walking around the flat in her high heels. Liz took to banging on the ceiling with a long handled brush which disturbed Kate who was studying for her banking examinations.
Jon was a member of an amateur orchestra and he bought an electronic organ. Jon played his electronic organ in the evenings and sometimes at weekends. Mick, who rented the flat next door, complained that when Jon played his electronic organ it interfered with Micks television reception. In addition many of the residents of the flats have complained about the noise of Jons electronic organ.
Ned owns a factory at the other end of the street and employs one hundred people. Acid fumes from the factory chimney have damaged the wooden roof on Jons flat and the paintwork on Kates sports car which was parked in the street.
Advise Jon, Kate, Liz, Mick and the residents of any action they may take in nuisance.
